THE JUSTICE JOURNEY – JACKSON TEAM 2018

OVERVIEW
As a part of the 2018 high school Interim offerings, we are excited to announce that the Jackson trip will be taking place in January again this year! This course is a service learning trip to Jackson, MS with a team of about 15-20 high school students and teachers. Students will study Civil Rights history and Christian community development and participate in community service projects in partnership with the John & Vera Mae Perkins Foundation. The trip also includes a visit to Memphis to tour the National Civil Rights Museum and Slavehaven, an underground railroad site turned museum. Students must apply to be a part of the Jackson Team. Applications can be downloaded below or picked up from the office or from Mrs. Beans. The application deadline is WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1.
