Great News! We are pleased to announce that the Ontario Christian Prepaid Campus Account will be the new method of payment for on-campus purchases starting Fall 2009. The Ontario Christian Prepaid Campus Account is an integral part of our goal to become a cashless campus. A cashless campus is more convenient for parents, safer for students, and more efficient for our school. The program is similar to the prepaid account programs that nearly all Colleges and Universities have had in place for several years. Finally, no more last minute scrambling for lunch money, no more worrying about it being lost, stolen, or spent on the wrong things, and no more missing the change that parents seldom, if ever, get back.
With the Ontario Christian Prepaid Campus Account you load money, monitor purchases, and can set low balance notifications by logging into www.myschoolaccount.com (a link is also available on our homepage: www.ocschools.org). Your student simply scans their finger (see Biometric Details link below) to make purchases at the snack shack, office, and other on campus venues as the school makes them available. For elementary students, this will simplify the prepared lunch program as well.

The prepaid system moves snack shack lines faster, allowing students more time to eat, is more hygienic, allows parents control of where money is spent, encourages better food choices, is more efficient for the school, and includes exclusive money-saving offers. It is a win for the student, the parent, and the school. It is our hope to have all students using this program during the 2009/2010 school year.
Please take 5 minutes and sign up by going to www.myschoolaccount.com to set up your student’s Ontario Christian Prepaid Campus Account. There is an annual fee of $40 per student. Once the account is established, you may load funds at your convenience as the new school year approaches. Your student will ready to make purchases by simply scanning their finger. You will be able to monitor purchases and reload your student’s account by returning to www.myschoolaccount.com at any time. Unused balances will roll over to the following school year.
