Horatio Alger Scholarship is open to seniors who have critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family); are involved in co-curricular and community activities; minimum 2.0 GPA and are a US Citizen. Miss Teenage California 2009 competition is open to young women ages 13 to 19. This is sponsored by CSF - California Scholarship Foundation. There is NO swimsuit or talent competition - this is based on academics (min. 3.0 GPS, activities, personality, poise and presence).
