MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT AT ONTARIO CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.
Each teacher must:
1    Profess Christ as Savior and Lord and maintain a positive Christian testimony.
2.   Be active in attendance of a local Protestant Christian Church.
3.   Have a lifestyle that is consistent with the school’s philosophy and the person’s Christian       
      testimony. The employee is committed to not participate in practices that would be  
      considered illegal, or considered by the school as immoral or inconsistent with a positive 
      Christian lifestyle such as cohabitating without marriage or in a homosexual relationship.
4    Enroll eligible children in Ontario Christian School in grades kindergarten through twelve.
5    Have or be in progress of securing a current teaching or other appropriate professional 
      certificate recognized by a State.
 
BENEFITS
1    A salary that is competitive for professional teachers in Southern California Beginning salary 
      for fulltime certified teacher with a Bachelor’s degrees is $33,954. Salary with thirteen or   
      more years of experience and additional professional training is $57,098. Beginning salary 
      for fulltime certified teacher with a Master’s degree is $36,077. Salary with thirteen or more 
      years of experience and additional professional training is $61,382.
2    A pension plan offered by Christian Schools International that reflects six percent contributed 
      by the school and six percent contributed by the employee.
3    A medical health plan for which the school pays 100% of the premiums for the employee and 
      employee’s family.
4    An insurance plan that covers life and disability for the employee.
5    A dental plan for the employee and the family.
6    A tuition assistance plan for full time teachers with children
