Erik Ellefsen has served in education for twenty-two years as a teacher, coach, Dean of Academics at Boston Trinity Academy, and as Principal at Chicago Christian High School. He currently serves as an Academic and College Counselor at Valley Christian High School (San Jose, CA) where he has developed an expertise in College Athletic Recruitment and is a current member of the NCAA High School Advisory Board. Erik is also a Senior Fellow for the Center for the Advancement of Christian Education (CACE), Senior Fellow for Cardus, a Senior Advisor at Baylor University’s Center for Christian Education, and hosts the Digical Education podcast. He played baseball at Westmont College before starting his coaching career and finishing his education at Wheaton College (B.A. in Social Science with IL Teaching Credential), earned a masters at Benedictine University (M.Ed. in Administration and Leadership with IL Administrative Credential), and attended Boston University for further studies in Educational Policy and Organizational Leadership.
