I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I received my professional clear California Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University. I also have a California Credential in special education for the severely handicapped. I began my professional career in the 1994/95 school year teaching lower elementary special education. I taught in the public school system until transferring to Ontario Christian in 2006.
I grew up in Chino, Ca. and attended Ontario Christian School from 1st through 12th grade. I met my husband Dave while we were both playing soccer for Azusa Pacific University. We dated for 3 years before we were married in 1995. Together we live in Ontario with our four sons. We are members at the Ontario United Reformed Church. We enjoy playing sports, camping, hiking, fishing, and anything Adidas.
I believe that Christian Education is a wonderful privilege. After spending so much time in public education, I love that I can now have devotions and pray with our students. I believe that school should be a continuation of the home in teaching children about Christ and helping them realize and utilize their God-given abilities. I am blessed each year seeing God’s hand in the lives of children.
