United States History
In this required course, juniors begin with a short review of Antebellum America followed by an in depth study on the political, social, economic, cultural, and religious growth, change, and development of the United States in the PostCivil War era. Students will explore the ever changing role of the United States in world events and foreign affairs while also making connections to the modern day. Furthermore, students will learn to understand that history is interpretive and polarizing based on differing historical perspectives and perceptions.
