OCPA

Here at Ontario Christian School, parents of every student are represented by the Ontario Christian Parents Association or OCPA. Our purpose is to raise funds during the school year to pay for non-budgeted classroom items and special events to better the learning environment.

We provide grants for:

  • Field trips
  • Walk Through California
  • Colonial Fair items
  • Software,
  • Student rewards and incentives
  • Preschool Snow Day
  • Teachers Appreciation Luncheon
  • Installation of equipment or items needed in the classroom
  • …and much more.

These provisions are made possible by your purchase of Scrip, used uniform sales, dine outs, our spring fundraiser, and Box Tops for Education.

Interested in Volunteering for OCPA?

Whether it’s helping at a community event like the annual Harvest Festival, baking goods for donations, serving as a room parent, chaperoning field trips, or other ways you are available to partner with us, we appreciate any time and support you can provide.

Opportunities to Support Include:

Box Tops for Education

Collect box tops from your General Mills products. Each box top collected earns 10 cents for our school. Students have the opportunity to earn an ice cream party. Sign up to receive discounts, coupons and enter contests at the Box Top website www.btfe.com

Family Dine Out Nights

OCPA works with local restaurant owners who return a percentage of profits to OC on a particular day. Connect with other OC families and enjoy a night off from cooking. Family Dine Out Nights are held on each second Monday of the month during the school year (excluding December

Scrip

Earn money toward tuition and raise funds for OC! Scrip is a collection of gift cards purchased through the school, which you may use for gas, groceries, entertainment, restaurants, and many other general expenses. A percentage of your purchase is credited toward your child’s tuition and also shared with OCPA to support student learning! For more details, see the Scrip page.
